On Saturday, April 22, members of the Hingham Democratic Town Committee and their guests came together to celebrate Earth Day with a volunteer event and spring cleanup at World’s End Park, a beautiful conservation area located on a peninsula in Hingham.
Led by the head ranger, the group worked diligently to cover two large areas of the park, preserving the natural beauty of this environmental treasure. The event was a resounding success, with committee members enjoying the satisfaction of doing good work while also socializing and bonding over their shared passion for protecting the environment.
This is just one of the many activities organized by the Hingham Democratic Committee to give back to the community. In fact, the committee has plans for a similar volunteer day in June, partnering with Habitat for Humanity for a home building project in Hingham.
John Deeley, Chair of the Committee, noted that “The Committee does a variety of work and services in Hingham. We encourage registered Democrats in Hingham to join us in our many activities.”
